Workshop in Madens Hus

Stories about apples and the preparation of apple dishes.

In the Agricultural Botanical Garden at the Green Museum, old varieties of apples are grown. Old varieties that contain exciting stories and where taste is paramount. Varieties that are rare and are grown in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen.

Museum curator Bettina Buhl will showcase different apple varieties and talk about apple growing through the ages.

In Madens Hus, chef Kim Thygesen from Den Gamle Stald will prepare tastings and archaeology student Alberte Zhonnesen will offer juice and compote.

In addition, you can test your knowledge about apple varieties.

The event is free once the admission ticket has been paid.
