Stories about apples and the preparation of apple dishes.
In the Agricultural Botanical Garden at the Green Museum, old varieties of apples are grown. Old varieties that contain exciting stories and where taste is paramount. Varieties that are rare and are grown in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen.
Museum curator Bettina Buhl will show different areas of the garden and talk about apple growing through the ages. There will be stories and tastings of the varieties.
In Madens Hus, chef Kim Thygesen from Den Gamle Stald will prepare various apple dishes according to old recipes.
Practical information:
The event is free once the admission ticket has been paid.
Registration is not necessary.
