If you are a group visiting The Green Museum, we offer several options for a guided tour. The most popular is our introduction with highlights from the museum's four areas of responsibility: hunting, forestry, food and agriculture. The story prepares the guest well for later experiencing the museum's many exhibitions and unique outdoor area on their own. The introduction also offers some of the presenter's own favorite stories - one from each of the subject areas, and all four will be illustrated with an object.

The offer has been developed based on experiences from repeated visits to Care Centers in connection with the regional project; Culture Together.
We end the visit with coffee and cookies, and the opportunity to see the museum's other exhibitions on your own.

Pancake course

Maximum number of people: 20.
Location: Meet at the store
Duration: 120 minutes
The history of pancakes in Denmark is over 500 years old, and in this course, guests jump straight into Danish food history when pancakes are made in the museum's period kitchens!
One of the museum's facilitators gives an introduction to Madens Hus before guests embark on a journey through food history and make pancakes from the 17th century to the present day. Each kitchen has pancake recipes that suit the period of the kitchen – fireplace, wood stove, gas and electricity.
After the introduction, the guests are divided into groups, and then they get to work at the pans themselves. At the end of the course, each group presents their kitchen and accompanying pancakes, before finally being allowed to taste the results of the day's work.
