– stories about open sandwiches and preparing open sandwiches (Workshop)
Chef Kim Thygesen (Den Gamle Stald) and food historian Bettina Buhl (Det Grønne Museum) will take over the House of Food and provide inspiration for preparing open sandwiches, delicious cold cuts and creative garnishes. We will harvest the old varieties of herbs in the museum's large garden. Along the way, Bettina will talk about the history of the herbs and their use in Danish households. Bettina will also talk about the importance of open sandwiches for Danish food culture.
Guests are allowed to taste, and instructions and good ideas for developing delicious open sandwiches are generously shared.
Practical information: The event is free once the admission ticket is paid. Registration is not necessary.
