Winter holiday in the treetops

Look forward to an extra exciting winter holiday when the museum's exhibition STORT – Man and the Forest opens its doors to both old acquaintances and brand new adventures. Here the whole family can explore the history of the forest in Denmark, try their hand at fun activities and feel the rush of being high-flying forest workers for a day.
Two big news
- Tree climbing in the exhibition
- Get up close and personal with the historic forestry work as you see how people have climbed to the top of the trees to prune and collect pine cones for 200 years. The exhibition has grown with new stories, photos and objects that give you a fascinating insight into the challenging everyday life of a forest worker.

Want to feel the rush in your stomach? Wearing professional climbing equipment, you can try climbing the museum's climbing column and experience the forest from above. The activity costs 50 DKK per person, and there are a limited number of places. You can pre-book your place now. here.
Everything else is included in the entry fee.
Bird feeders, cone tossing, the big flip game and the cubic meter block are all fun and educational activities that are free once the entrance fee is paid.

- The big turning game: Test your memory and teamwork in a big, entertaining turning game for the whole family.

Practical
The winter holiday activities run from February 8 to 16. The museum opens every day at 10 am. Young people under 18 have free admission, and with a paid ticket to the Green Museum you can also visit the neighboring museum Gammel Estrup Denmark's Manor Museum.
