One of the enjoyable family activities is the opportunity to plant a tree seed and take it home.

With an indoor forest trip with coziness, atmosphere and tasks along the way, you can experience all the fascinating things in the forest during the winter holidays – but it takes place in the Green Museum's heated indoor forest exhibition – BIG.

During the winter holidays, the Green Museum on Djursland invites the whole family to a unique and educational experience in the impressive 800 m2 indoor forest. This year's special event includes a cozy forest walk with a quiz and four exciting tasks that require teamwork and skill. By solving all of them, you open the opportunity to win prizes from the museum shop.

The family's adventure begins with planting a small tree seed, which you can then take home and watch sprout and grow into a large tree over the coming years - a lasting memory of your shared experiences during the winter holidays at The Green Museum.

Additional challenges include precision work, teamwork in an exciting turn-based game, and finally, you must delve into nature's development from seed to finished product, where your knowledge will guide you to victory in a round of four in a row.

And in the museum's indoor forest, you can hardly see the forest for all the fun activities for all ages that the museum has put together. There are feeler boxes, microscopes, drawing areas and much more – all inside or by the impressive, atmospheric and cozy forest exhibition – 'STORT'.
