  • The Green Museum is Denmark's national museum for hunting, forestry, agriculture and food.
  • The Green Museum tells the story of human use of natural resources – and gives visitors insight and tools to act and make their own choices in a challenged world.
  • The museum is a state museum under the Ministry of Culture.
  • The museum is located in scenic Djursland, and every year almost 100,000 guests visit the museum.
  • The museum's collection contains more than 77,000 objects within the four subject areas.
  • The museum has an indoor exhibition of approximately 6000 m2 - and around the museum there are also 60 hectares with, among other things, a historic kitchen garden, organic farming and livestock of old Danish breeds.
  • The ticket to the museum also covers admission to Gammel Estrup, Denmark's Manor House Museum.
