A very special Christmas gift for school children

A lot of happy children visit The Green Museum in connection with Christmas of All Time.

Now that Christmas is approaching, The Green Museum's education department has found the Christmas spirit and created a truly wonderful Christmas gift for schools and institutions.

Because from November 22 to December 16, they can come to the museum for free and experience the digital Christmas exhibition for themselves.Christmas of all times.

Take a free Christmas tour, which takes you through the exciting Danish cultural history of Christmas through indoor and outdoor audio stories. The tour starts in the museum's Christmas exhibition, 'Christmas of All Times', which shows how traditions in relation to food, decorations, gifts, faith and folk beliefs slowly develop into the Christmas we know today. The tour then continues with a digital story by the Christmas cabbage in the historic garden, and finally ends by the farm animals and the farm gnome in the barn.

Practical: The tour is on your own, including a visit to the animals in the barn, where teachers and educators accompany and are responsible for their own group. The time required is approximately 1 hour.

Do you want to extend the day?, for 400 DKK (for the whole class) you can purchase an extra dose of Christmas cheer with rice pudding, lemonade and the best Christmas stories from the presenters, who will also answer any questions that may arise during the Christmas trip. It is expected that 2 hours will be set aside for the trip and Christmas cheer with rice pudding.

But we are so much more! You are of course welcome to spend all the time you want at the Green Museum during your visit, and walk around all our exhibitions yourself, just as the outdoor playground is always open.

There are also great opportunities to sit in our Christmas-decorated lunch area and enjoy your lunch – before the exciting and educational day continues around and outside the museum.

Booking: You don't need to book the free offer. You can just show up and experience the atmospheric Christmas tour from Tuesday to Friday between 10 am and 3 pm.
