Description
Title: A museum in time
Author: Jette Baagøe and Helle Serup
For 75 years, the Hunting and Forestry Museum invited its guests into the beautiful old breeding buildings of Hørsholm Castle. A Museum in Time tells the story of the people and ideas behind the museum, and how it developed in step with new exhibition techniques and changes in the population's view of hunting, nature and forestry. The book also attempts to understand why in 2015 it was no longer desired to preserve the museum in Hørsholm. The collections were then merged with the Danish Agricultural Museum in Auning, and the merger created the Green Museum.
