Food and drink at the Green Museum

Although we are a museum of Danish food culture, eating or drinking is not permitted in the museum's exhibitions. But visitors should not go hungry or thirsty. There are several options for grabbing a bite to eat at the Green Museum. For example, visit restaurant Den Gamle Stald, which serves fantastic lunches and formidable cake stands.

Eat brought food at the museum

If you have packed lunches or a picnic basket, you can eat in our atmospheric lounge area (the clearing), as long as you are considerate of the museum's other guests. It is also possible to sit outside, weather permitting.

Eat in The Old Stable

In restaurant Den Gamle Stald, which is located at the Green Museum, you can extend your museum visit with an experience for your taste buds. The restaurant serves lunch of course, but also much more. See more on their website below.

We recommend that you book a table so you don't miss out. This can be done on their website below.

The Old Stable can also be booked for events, parties or meetings.
Contact them at skrivtil@dengamlestald.nu

If you are coming as a larger group or bus company, you can contact the restaurant and find a good solution for dining.
