MTKJ Club Championship in Ploughing 2025 – Tractors, Horses & Volunteers
The Motor & Tractor Club of Jutland (MTKJ) invites you to a fireworks display of plow power and tradition when the club championship in plowing is held in the fields at the Green Museum.
The event offers, among other things:
- Competition plowing: Tractors compete in different classes – the ploughing competition runs from 10:00 to 14:40 with a rest (break) between 11:00 and 12:00.
- Workhorses in action: Østjysk Køreselskab presents 3 horses and a driver who plow and demonstrate horse work at 10:00–12:00 and again at 13:30–15:00. You might also want to try your hand at plowing with a horse!
- Volunteers & machines: The tractor workshop volunteers take various old and new tractors out onto the grassy area in front of De Historiske Marker.
- Polakhaven & Polakhuset are open: The museum's volunteers are on hand here between 10:00 and 15:00 with knowledge, conversation and a historical atmosphere – perfect for the whole family.
Practical info & tickets:
- Access: If you have a ticket to The Green Museum, admission to the club championship is included.
- Only plowing? You can show up at the plowing area and buy a ticket for the club championship alone (price: 50 kr)
