About the museum
At the Green Museum you can experience hunting, the forest, agriculture and food, for the first time together in one museum.
The beautiful and vibrant museum is located in fantastic surroundings in Auning on Djursland.
From the moment you arrive at the museum, you can sense the history of the land we live in and live off – and experience livestock, fields, kitchen gardens, traditions, people, machines and good stories in the changing seasons.
Take a trip out into the countryside with friends and family and enjoy a day full of experiences indoors and outdoors with plenty to see, touch and smell.
IN HOUSE OF FOOD There are food activities throughout the year, just as the Nature Workshop and Historical Kitchen welcome school classes on weekdays and the general public on selected weekends and during holidays. Throughout the year you will be able to participate in the Green Museum's activity days or follow the work of the many volunteer guilds inside and outside. See when they work here
