Christmas of all times

Now that Christmas is approaching, The Green Museum's education department has found the Christmas spirit and created a truly wonderful Christmas gift for schools and institutions.

From November 20 to December 20, 2024, they can come to the museum for free and experience the Christmas exhibition 'Christmas for All Time'.– Here you can explore both inside and out – meet the animals in the stable, visit the winter garden and learn more about Christmas through the centuries.

Practical
The tour is on your own, including a visit to the animals in the stable, where teachers and educators accompany and are responsible for their own group. At the entrance you will be given a small Christmas quiz that the children can answer along the way. The time required is approx. 1 hour.

Expand the day – meet the Christmas facilitators
It is free to visit the exhibition, but if you want to extend your day, you can purchase an extra dose of Christmas cheer for 400 DKK (for the whole class) with rice pudding, lemonade and the best Christmas stories from the presenters. The presenters are also ready to answer any questions that may have arisen during the Christmas trip, and the children each receive a cozy Christmas activity booklet to take home.

Expect to set aside 2 hours for the trip and Christmas cheer with rice pudding.

While you're still here
You are of course welcome to spend all the time you want at the Green Museum during your visit, and walk around all our exhibitions yourself, just as the children's farm and outdoor playground are always open.

There are also good opportunities to use our indoor Christmas-decorated packed lunch area before the exciting and educational day continues around and outside the museum.

Booking
You don't need to book a visit to the Christmas exhibition. You can just show up and experience the atmospheric Christmas tour from Tuesday to Friday between 10 am and 3 pm.
