LIVING MUSEUM \/ Recurring event \/ Free when admission is paid<\/strong><\/p>\n

Experience the year's first Living Saturday at the Green Museum, where our volunteers bring history to life through crafts, tastings and stories.<\/p>\n

This day you can get up close to the old crafts and meet the people who keep them alive. Get a taste of history, try your hand at selected activities and gain insight into rural life through time. It is a day where both children and adults can join in \u2013 and where the museum really comes alive.<\/p>\n

Among other things, you can experience:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Tastings of butter and fresh cheese from the dairy guild<\/li>\n
  • Tastings of medister as well as bread and rhubarb from the food and butchers' guild<\/li>\n
  • Meet the Brewers Guild and learn about beer brewing<\/li>\n
  • Meet the beekeepers and gain insight into the work with bees<\/li>\n
  • Experience making bows<\/li>\n
  • Try your hand at rope jumping<\/li>\n
  • Meet volunteers in the blacksmith shop and tractor workshop<\/li>\n
  • Meet the forestry guild and hear about the work in the forest<\/li>\n
  • Meet the museum's hosts in the visitor magazine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    In addition, you can participate in a special introduction to the exhibition Under the Sun<\/em> by museum curator Anette M\u00f8ller. Here you will get selected highlights from the exhibition and an insight into its themes and stories.<\/strong><\/p>\n
