Through tableaus and stories, you can learn about 300 years of Christmas history.<\/p><\/div>\n

Today, Christmas is filled with fir trees and gifts. But how was Christmas celebrated 300 years ago? Visit the Green Museum's Christmas exhibition Christmas of All Time from November 19 to December 30 and get an insight into Christmas in Denmark through the ages.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the help of audio stories and Christmas tableaus, visitors to the exhibition Alletiders Jul can follow how the Danes' Christmas celebrations have developed \u2013 from the first living rooms with simple decorations to today's glittering Christmas trees and showers of gifts.<\/p>\n

Nature, animals and winter gardens in Christmas clothes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Christmas at the Green Museum also extends outdoors.<\/p>\n

In the stable you can meet the museum's animals and hear stories about how they have had their place in Christmas traditions over time.<\/p>\n

The agricultural history kitchen garden invites you to talk about seasonal produce and focuses on the role of cabbage in the holiday season.<\/p>\n

Gingerbread workshop and Christmas fun for everyone<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the last three Advent weekends, the museum smells of honey.<\/p>\n

The popular gingerbread workshop opens here, where both children and adults can decorate their own gingerbread heart for 15 kroner and enjoy it immediately or take it home for later enjoyment.<\/p>\n
