Great day at the Children's Culture Festival!<\/h3>\n

There was listening, learning and testing at the Children's Culture Festival 2024.<\/p><\/div>\n

Yesterday we had the great pleasure of being part of the Children's Culture Festival at Gammel Estrup, and it was a day filled with smiles, laughter and lots of learning!<\/strong><\/p>\n

All kindergartens and primary school classes in Norddjurs were invited to a free day full of exciting experiences under the theme \u201cWhat we build\u201d. The Green Museum, together with other fantastic cultural actors such as Museum \u00d8stjylland, Kattegatcentret, Kulturskolen Norddjurs, Norddjurs Libraries, Reno Djurs, Norddjurs School Service and Gammel Estrup Denmark's Manor Museum, welcomed the children to a day of activities that engaged and inspired the 3-8 year olds.<\/p>\n

We could see the excitement in the children's eyes as they participated in our activities and learned more about hunting, forests, agriculture and food. The weather was on our side, which added to the already fantastic atmosphere.<\/p>\n

The Green Museum presented four exciting stands, each representing one of our four main professional areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The forest:<\/strong> Here the children built with wood and constructed a cubic meter.<\/p>\n

Agriculture:<\/strong> Here we built high and long with straw bales.<\/p>\n

Food:<\/strong> We made an alternative food pyramid by building with the body's building blocks.<\/p>\n

Hunting:<\/strong> We built food chains from the natural world with pictures and figures.<\/p>\n

The festival was organized by Norddjurs Municipality's children's culture network in collaboration with School and day care services in Norddjurs Municipality, Norddjurs School Service and the Children and Youth Committee. The purpose of the festival is to create more encounters between the municipality's children and local art and culture, and we are proud to be able to contribute to this fantastic event.<\/p>\n

The Children's Culture Festival is a great opportunity for children in Norddjurs Municipality to explore and learn about our cultural heritage in a fun and interactive way. By participating in various activities spanning hunting, forestry, agriculture and food, the children gain a deeper understanding of our history and culture while having fun.<\/p>\n

We had over 300 children participating on the day, making it a lively and festive event. The children and their teachers were very enthusiastic about the various stands and activities on offer. We are grateful for all the positive feedback we have received and are already looking forward to next year's festival.<\/p>\n
