New photo exhibition opens March 28<\/h3>\n

In collaboration with the Danish Hunters' Association, The Green Museum will inaugurate a different photo exhibition on March 28th with a focus on living animals and beautiful nature - but seen through the sharp eyes of hunters.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Few people would immediately think of photos when talking about a hunter's spot-on shot! But it is quite normal that many are equipped with some very capable cameras \u2013 and they like to take them with them when they go out into nature to hunt. This results in many beautiful and special images that show the encounter with nature in a new way.<\/p>\n

The most popular of these photos will be shown at the Green Museum in the new hunting photo exhibition 'J\u00e6gerblik'. The museum's hunting historian Rune Clausen explains what makes the photo exhibition unique:<\/p>\n

'The exhibition J\u00e6gerblik is about seeing nature and the surroundings through the eyes of the hunter. The motif world is immediately recognizable \u2013 the fascination with nature and animals is shared \u2013 but the gaze is still a little different; it is the gaze of the hunter.'<\/p>\n

The users have decided<\/strong><\/p>\n

The exhibition has been created in an unconventional \u2013 but exciting \u2013 way. Instead of the museum's hunting historian Rune Clausen selecting the photos for the exhibition, the photos were put up for a vote via social media and the museum's website. So it was the museum's guests who were allowed to decide which photos they would like to have included in the exhibition.<\/p>\n

'The content of a museum exhibition is rarely something that visitors have a direct influence on. We are changing that here, because everyone has had the opportunity to vote on the content,' says Rune Clausen, who elaborates: 'We can do this because the basic material the photographers have submitted to the Danish Hunters' Association is so incredibly good, and above all because images speak to us in a language that all people have an innate understanding of.'<\/p>\n

When the voting ended at the end of week 10, the photos with the highest averages were included in the exhibition, which will be inaugurated and opened to the public on March 28th.<\/p>\n

Collaboration with the Danish Hunters' Association<\/strong><\/p>\n

The exhibition has been made possible thanks to a good collaboration with the Danish Hunters' Association. The many photos that have participated in the vote were found via the Danish Hunters' Association's member magazine 'J\u00e6ger', which has named the photo of the month among the members' best shots in every issue for a number of years.<\/p>\n

These many photos have participated in the pool and the vote for this different exhibition; and thus the beautiful images have actually found their way through the eye of the needle twice. First, they won the title of photo of the month in the magazine 'J\u00e6ger', and then they were selected through the user vote at the Green Museum.<\/p>\n

So these are truly some very special hunter's spotting scopes, which can now be seen in large format and in all their glory at the Green Museum from March 28, 2023.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
