The cosmos (world order) was the basis for human life and society as early as the Bronze Age (c. 1,500-800 BC), as images of the zodiac signs
as time shows.
The cosmos is eternal, which is symbolized by the endless knot. Everything follows a cycle: the day, the year, life, generations... Later, the Trinity was added to the symbolism.
